2 days & nights of the best networking & education of the year.
Conference countdown… yes – once again the clock is ticking, we’re counting down the weeks to Eventia’s 2009 summer conference. Bigger, bolder and even more thought-provoking than last year’s highly acclaimed event, The Summer Eventia will provide a mix of educational, networking and social activities designed to inspire, inform and entertain event professionals at every level within the organisation.
Our venue partner this year is the Holiday Inn on Brighton Seafront.
The Holiday Inn Brighton-Seafront hotel is superbly and prominently located on the famous Brighton beachfront, opposite the Victorian West Pier. The hotel underwent a major refurbishment in 2006/7 and now offers full air conditioning and free Wi-Fi internet access in all bedrooms and lounge/bar areas.
The hotel has 131 beautifully appointed, modern and comfortable en-suite rooms all with in room air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone, and satellite TV with on demand movies; 24hr room service is also available.
Eventia have almost exclusive use of the Holiday Inn for the duration of the conference, so we highly recommend you stay onsite but book early to secure your accommodation!
Bed and breakfast accommodation at the Holiday Inn Brighton for this event must be pre-booked through The Summer Eventia registration site. You can do this at the same time as registering for the conference or log back in later and amend your details. The cost is £110 per room per night (for both single and double occupancy including breakfast + VAT).
Please note that credit card details will be taken to pay for your accommodation which is subject to the hotel’s own terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are outlined under the cancellation policy on the registration form. All incidental charges must be paid for on check-out. Please indicate on your registration form if you have any special requirements.
Should you wish to stay at another hotel during the conference, or were unlucky enough to book after all the rooms at the Holiday Inn have been reserved; we have arranged an alternative selection of accommodation through Visit Brighton.

The dress code for the entire conference is totally casual, no business attire is allowed, so however you feel comfortable; shorts, t-shirts, sundresses and flip flops are the norm throughout. This is our chance to relax as an industry together, learn from each other and exchange ideas, debate hot issues, have some fun and make new friends in a relaxed comfortable environment.
Please note that the above dress code also applies to Monday evening dinner which will be something a little different this year.
To ensure that the conference community contains a balanced cross section of buyers and suppliers this year, each attendee category has a set limit.
Once that limit has been reached, sorry you may need to be placed on the reserve list if you want to attend – so to ensure that you don’t miss out book early.
