Operations Director - London
Further to graduation, my career began at a global wholesale tour operator based in London and Rome. 3 years later I moved into the events industry working for several smaller agencies, before joining Banks Sadler in October 2000.
My first role was as Project Manager working with an IT client - one of the companies largest account teams. I ran projects that took place all over the world, ranging from small incentives to high level CEO level customer events. I progressed to manage the account team for several years, before moving into the role of Operations Manager of the Banks Sadler London office in May 2007. In spring 2008 I joined the Executive Committee as Operations Director.
Being in this position within an industry leading agency, I feel it important to promote best practice in our company and throughout the industry as a whole, whilst also sharing this knowledge with my peers. My role as Operations Director includes responsibility for a number of different areas and projects; including (but not exclusive to) HR and placement of resources, policies and procedures, proposals and pricing, CSR, regulatory issues and risk management.
