We are also involved in the seminar programme with John Hooker, Founder of JHCP Ltd and Eventia Regulation Committee Member presenting "To bribe or not to bribe", The Bribery Act 2011 and what it may hold in store for the events industry.
This seminar takes place on Tuesday 1st March in the Organising and Logistics Theatre. The Seminar will look at: the objectives of the Act, implications on procurement, cultural practices and can these be overcome, areas to be considered from Fam visits to gifts.
Also at 15.30 in the Industry Forum will be Anthony Miller, Director of Strategy, Active Network Events and Simon Hughes, Director Live Events, COI and Eventia Board Member giving a master class in blending live with online technology. They will look at: how to extend the lifecycle of an event; how to increase delegate interaction and engagement; creating digital platforms in a live environment and real world case study examining the strategic creative and tactical issues involved.
