Eventia Summer Networking Party and How to make Social Media work for your business

We are delighted to be working with the Science Museum, London to present our Summer Networking Party this year.

This is a fabulous opportunity to mix and network with colleagues within the industry in a fantastic setting in central London and will also play host to a regional heat of ‘The Next Big Thing'. This competition is widely recognised across the industry, and once again is searching for new and exceptionally talented acts looking to break into the corporate entertainment and party scene! All shortlisted acts will battle it out at The Next Big Thing semi-finals at Event UK in Birmingham, 21-22 September.

Eventia are delighted to announce a new series of 'How to' sessions, bitesize seminars followed by networking. This taster session is part of the new Eventia initiative to provide cost effective, practical sessions which won't eat into your busy schedule or your tight budgets!

This event will preceed the Eventia Summer Networking Party at the Science Museum in London on the 18th August and will be hosted by Mike Fletcher.

Mike is an established business & lifestyle journalist and social media consultant to the UK events industry. He is Contributing Editor for Visit London, and 2009/10 Vice-President Communications for the UK Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES). He's launched three magazines on behalf of Haymarket Media Group & specialises in digital, marketing, media & live events.

What time does it start and finish?

Registration will commence at 5.15pm for the Seminar which will then take place between 5.30pm and 6.30pm in the Director's Suite adjacent to and part of, The Science Museum. Then on completion of the seminar you will move to the main part of the Science Museum for the Summer Networking Party finishing around 9pm.
