Eventia Awards 2011

The Eventia Awards have been in existence in various forms for over 20 years. They exist to reward and recognise excellence in the events industry and specifically the projects that are developed and organised by event professionals.

Created, developed and judged by an independent panel of industry leaders the awards are a truly representative recognition of the changing landscape of the broader events industry, encompassing both B2B and B2C projects. The event is also the biggest showcase for the association in the industry calendar providing an unparalleled opportunity for members to network with colleagues as well as demonstrate the value of their work to clients. The last event was held on 26th November 2010 at the Hilton Park Lane, with over 850pax in attendance it was a record night enjoyed by all. 

The next event will be held in November 2011, venue and date to be confirmed. 

Eventia have worked with Haymarket Media as media partner and organiser of the awards for over 13years, specifically with the titles C&IT and Event magazine.  However we now must advise that this agreement with Haymarket Media has been terminated and therefore offers the opportunity for other media to support the awards. 

Mark Saxby, Eventia Chairman commented, “We have had a successful relationship with Haymarket Media on our Awards over the years but now is the time to move on. These are the Eventia Awards, so it is only right that we run them - I would also add that, speaking as a Member, they are the one’s to win. Eventia now has the opportunity to talk to a number of potential media partners and I am delighted to say that this process has already begun. There is no reason why Haymarket Media could not be one of them.” 

Eventia wish to ensure that the event truly recognises the spirit of the industry and is representative of the variety of projects being run by our members and the wider industry so the Eventia board has asked for feedback from the members to assist them in continuing to shape the event moving forward.
