Cath Couzens has developed a well respected and established reputation within the MICE market. Hoteliers as well as agency and corporate buyers respect her knowledge of the sector, her tenacity and her continued drive for both customer and client satisfaction.

Cath developed her extensive sales and marketing experience, having worked in numerous regional and national sales roles, including: The Westin Turnberry Resort and Castle Howard Estate.

In October 2004 Cath established Perception and successfully approached The Grove (where she was Regional Director of Sales) for her first contract. Four years later, Perception is well established and has a proven track record of business success; offering consultancy and full representation services to a select portfolio of luxury hotels. Perception has helped properties develop their market share as well as launch and position new hotels and developments to the UK MICE market.

Cath leads her team from the front, focusing on direct contact with key clients, hosting regular events and educational trips to Perception's partner hotels. She has a genuine passion for the industry and would bring a wealth of contacts to Eventia. Cath's aim is to increase the number of events in regional hubs and develop the membership outside of London.
