Stage Electrics is one of Europe’s largest and most experienced suppliers of technical equipment to the live event, theatre and television industries.  Established over 30 years ago and still privately owned by the two founders, Stage Electrics turned over £27m in 2009, employs 240 full time staff, and has over £13m of hire stock. 

The core business of Stage Electrics is the provision of Lighting, Sound, Video and Scenic equipment and services to Event Production Companies, Theatre Productions and Television Production Companies.  Every year Stage Electrics supports over 500 separate events and because we own all the equipment, employ a full technical staff and run our own fleet of trucks, we aim to offer a more cost effective solution than employing multiple separate suppliers, whilst maintaining the quality and specialism demanded by an exacting industry.

In addition Stage Electrics is a major distributor of professional lighting, audio and video brands in the UK with over 6,000 unique lines, making us one of the largest AV sales companies in Europe.  Finally Stage Electrics is the leading professional installer of permanent theatre equipment in the education and theatre market including the full technical install of the new Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, the most important new theatre to be built in the UK for a generation .
