The Science Museum, fashionably located in London’s South Kensington, explores the past, present and future of human ingenuity. In June 2009, this multi-award-winning unique venue celebrated its one hundredth anniversary as an independent organisation. It is the home of more than 12,000 fascinating objects and provides a wealth of contrasting event spaces.

Dedicated conference facilities include the traditional and elegant Director’s Suite or the wired and contemporary Dana Centre; both accommodating up to 100 delegates with break-out rooms and a separate catering area also available.

The 400-seat IMAX cinema, located in the Wellcome Wing – the Museum’s most contemporary event space, can be hired exclusively for daytime or evening events, including awards presentations, product launches, AGM’s or large-scale conferences. With award-winning architecture, the Wellcome Wing offers four levels of galleries suspended in front of an immense blue glass wall, creating a breathtaking setting for evening receptions or dinners.

Other favourite galleries include Making the Modern World where up to 430 guests can dine alongside icons such as Stephenson’s Rocket and the Apollo 10 command module. In the Flight gallery, guests can enjoy drinks or dinner beneath the icons of aviation history, whilst the Energy Hall provides a dramatic setting with a triple height atrium and the eight-metre high Energy Ring which can be used to display corporate welcome messages.

Level 2 is the perfect venue for exhibitions, large-scale conferences, fashion shows, launch events or award lunches/dinners; offering a versatile 950 square metre blank-canvas gallery for daytime or evening for dry-hire.
