The Roundhouse is a north London landmark venue presenting an international programme of high quality events for diverse audiences. The Roundhouse has a rich history that evokes fond memories for many and excites the imagination and curiosity of others.  From modest Victorian beginnings, as a steam-engine repair shed, to legendary cultural venue, the Roundhouse has an enviable heritage.

Following a £30 million refurbishment, incorporating state-of-the-art production facilities, the doors of this magnificent Grade II* listed building reopened in 2006. Since then, more than half a million people have been to music, theatre, dance and circus events and 15,000 young people have developed their creative talents in our studios.

The stunning Main Space is perfect for corporate and private events: launches, parties, receptions, awards ceremonies, gala dinners, meetings and performances. Flexible and inspiring, it’s an iconic space to create the ultimate event - receptions and parties up to 1,800, conferences up to 1,500 and dinners up to 1,200. It is exclusively available for private and corporate hire for a limited 12 weeks each year.

All the income generated by corporate and private events goes directly towards supporting our programme for young people. The Roundhouse Trust is a charity whose main purpose is to engage large numbers of young people, and particularly those that have been excluded, marginalised or disadvantaged by society, into a wide range of creative projects where they can learn new skills and gain experience, enabling them to find pathways back into education, into work experience or simply to enjoy a wider cultural life.
