SECC

Host Sponsor of Summer Eventia

The Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre (SECC) is situated in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland’s cultural and commercial capital. The venue is the UK’s largest integrated events venue, purpose-built to provide exhibition, conference and concert space and capable of delivering events from two to well over 10,000 delegates.

In 2010, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary – a great opportunity to reminisce about hosting nearly 4,000 events and welcoming over 28 million visitors through our doors. We’re proud to be one of the most successful venues in Europe and continue to play our part in helping put Glasgow on the map as a business tourism and events destination.

At Summer Eventia, we bring the events industry to Scotland to share best practice, provide opportunities to learn from some of the most inspiring people in the business and make new connections.

At the same time it’s a fantastic time for us to showcase our venue: for organisers considering the SECC, Glasgow or Scotland for conferences or events, rest assured that our purpose built venue has been getting it right for our clients for 25 years. Some of our most popular events, such as the Irn-Bru Carnival were held here during our inaugural year and have been coming back ever since.

Apart from one of the most experienced and enthusiastic teams in the events sector, the SECC offers unrivalled flexibility of space. From the iconic Clyde Auditorium to the Loch Suite of meeting rooms, all joined to 22,355m² of exhibition space; we have the space to suit your event’s needs, complete with the very latest in AV technology.

We also believe in sustainability; every booking to the SECC sees a contribution to the local environment, the local community, and a commitment to balancing any negative environmental impact we have. Working closely with the Carbon Trust, we are a corporate sponsor of Trees for Life’s endeavour to recreate the native Caledonian Forest. Until now, we have planted over 68,000 trees with the charity. In addition, the SECC works with local charity Nordoff Robbins, transforming the lives of children and adults constrained by illness, disability or trauma through the power of music.
